On February 15, 2022, TC 269 of the ISO published the draft standard Railway applications – Railway quality management system – ISO 9001:2015 and specific requirements for application in the railway sector. The voting terminates on May 10, 2022. Hence, it could be that the revised standard will be published still in this year. Nothing has yet been communicated about the transition periode yet. However, I’m assuming it will be three years, as usual. If you would like to better understand the differences to the current standard, please attend our seminar IRIS for Advanced. Now, I will update my seminar and implement this topic so that it is available in June.
