November 2020: RAM/LCC training successfully conducted as online seminar

Rising Covid 19 case numbers in Europe and the resulting travel and accommodation restrictions made it necessary to change the CC-Rail seminar calendar in November. The RAM/LCC training originally planned as a classroom event was converted into an online seminar at short notice in close cooperation with the participants. Once again, the modular structure of the training program with the topics RAM management and implementation, reliability, availability, maintainability and life cycle cost proved to be an important prerequisite.

Thus, during the course of the 4-day online training, each day could be completed with a complex of topics. All contents of the classroom training were also taught in the online training. The training documents sent out in advance and the independent completion of some exercises as homework allowed each participant even greater flexibility in preparing and following up the training material. Each day gave the participants ample opportunity to ask questions and ask for understanding. The homework was also discussed in detail.

The RAM/LCC training concept with a mix of presentations, experience discussions, practice-oriented examples and exercises as well as not least a generous lunch and smaller coffee breaks helped both the participants and the lecturer to hold the concentration up over the 4 days. CC-Rail would like to thank all participants once again for their understanding and willingness to change the training schedule at short notice. A big praise also to the high self-discipline and motivation of the participants during the training.

The very positive feedback shows: CC-Rail is also on the right track with its online training program. Despite certain disadvantages in group dynamics and interaction, e-learning will certainly become more and more present even after the corona pandemic has subsided. CC-Rail is well prepared for this future trend.
