June, 25th 2019: first ISO/TS 22163 GUIDELINE published by IRIS Academy

You may download Guideline No. 9. RISK & OPPORTUNITY MANAGEMENT free of charge from our server, but please don’t use for commercial purposes. You can always find the actual edition of the guideline on our webpage (https://www.cc-rail.info/en/assets/). It is also available for your download in Chinese and German langauages. To receive the Chinese version (IRIS 指南9  风险&机会管理), please send an e-mail to: info@cc-rail.com.

ISO/TS 22163 certainly contains some very complex topics which are not self-explanatory on the way to your IRIS Certification, such as project costs, quality deficiency cost (QDC), project FMEA, risk-based thinking, requirements management, configuration/change management, RAMS/LCC, supply management (EPPPS), competence management, the KPI “customer satisfaction”, process reviews, etc. In previous IRIS revisions, “IRIS Guidelines” were published for some of these topics (a total of eight). The last in 2016. Unfortunately, these guidelines have not been adapted to IRIS Rev. 03 yet. Other new topics could have been taken up long ago. Whatever the reasons are, this is not the case.

Hence, I decided to invest my time in something meaningful and to continue this former Guideline series under the roof of the IRIS Academy. Everyone might benefit from this, even 3rd party auditors.

In this guideline you will find in the appendix an excerpt from my documents, which I otherwise use for my IRIS training. If you have already attended IRIS courses with other providers or are planning to do so, you can see for yourself the quality of our IRIS training offers and draw your own conclusions.

Kind regards
Andreas Heinzmann
