EnerSys manufacturing plant in Newport makes great progress on its way to IRIS certification! Despite some pending issues from the severe IRIS pre-audit by CC-Rail, EnerSys shows great willingness to improve its business processes in the railway segment. The preparations for the IRIS Readiness Review are now completed. After this effort Enersys can now confidently face any IRIS auditor, because they are well prepared.

The EKE management team has big plans! In order to achieve these goals, the management engaged Andreas Heinzmann and invited him to a one-week workshop in Espoo.

Among other things, topics such as “the EKE process landscape” including the associated hierarchical process structure and the “EKE Balance Score Card” were worked on this week. One goal was to fundamentally revise the entire KPI system.

The senior management of Trelleborg Antivibration Solutions invited to a IRIS meeting in its German Head office to create an awareness about the IRIS Certification process and the ISO/TS 22163 requirements. The goal was to inform all senior managers and to conclude next steps.

CC-Rail supported the discussion by providing fundamental information and expertise. We will continue with a 5-day IRIS auditor training in Leicester (UK).

Powertech Controls has started its journey to IRIS certification. As usual, we started the IRIS project with a kick-off meeting and a subsequent 4-day IRIS training. External participants from Knorr Brake were also allowed to attent in the training. I would like to thank Tricia Austin for her commitment and the good preparation.
